It is always interesting to note the incidents that God has recorded in His Word. He certainly has a reason for what He says in His Word, and the miracle recorded in Acts 3 and 4 is no exception. Some of those who opposed the work of Jesus Christ called it a notable miracle because it contradicted their own agenda. For us it is a notable miracle for many other reasons: it confirms the resurrection of Jesus Christ and all that the prophets said, it declares unequivocally that God still heals after the ascension of His son and it openly shows the power that God wrought in the name of Jesus Christ when He raised him from the dead – to name a few. Additionally and specifically for our own walks, it informs us that it is not by our own power and holiness that deliverance is available but by believing in the name of Jesus Christ.
