Many times we concentrate on believing God in situations of life, and this is wonderful for we are encouraged to believe God. However, there is a distinction between believing and trust. One may be able to believe God in a given situation but not necessarily be living a life of trusting God (ex. Balaam, the 9 leppers who never gave thanks, etc.)
There are wonderful examples in the Scriptures of those who lived a life of trusting God. Sometimes they ended up in very dire situations but regardless of the outcome, they continued to trust God.

Things may not always go the way we wish but the certainity of God’s Word (upon which all trust is to be based) is never in question.
