This teaching looks at the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It considers the attempts by evil to cover up the truth of not just the resurrection of Jesus Christ but the resurrections of the future. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is spoken of many times in close proximity to the resurrections yet to come. Some records in the Book of Acts are examined to see how the resurrection of Jesus Christ was prophesied by David and it was a truth that was consistently preached by the believers of the First Century Church. Paul himself was witnessed to by the resurrected Jesus Christ and he was told to preach so that others could turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God and to receive forgiveness of sins. Paul consistently preached the truth of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The resurrection is vital and central to God’s purpose of the ages – the consummation of all things under Jesus Christ in ages to come. Christ was the firstfruits in resurrection – with all those who believe on him to follow at the Gathering Together for the Church.
