God has always taken care of His people. When Israel walked with God, He took great care of the “apple” of His eye. When His people were threatened in any way God was not well pleased. With the work of Jesus Christ and the corresponding blessings to the Church, God’s presence and protection for His people has not diminished in any respect, in fact, the care is that much greater. The epistles declare that because of all God has done, how much more He has the ability to care for His own. When Paul the Apostle was persecuting the Church, for example, Jesus Christ took it has direct affront to him. Jesus Christ is the head of the body of Christ and as such is responsible to take care of the members which is something he takes seriously. The Scriptures declare that if God is for us, who can possibly be against us. God is for us by the work of Jesus Christ and all the blessings that has brought to those who are born again. The Word declares that absolutely nothing can ever separate us from His love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
