This teaching looks at the blessings and benefits of having Jesus Christ as our lord. He is the most capable and powerful lord that we could ever have. He humbled himself to the point of dying for us, and God has highly exalted him to His right hand. Now his name is above every name, he is above all principalities, powers, might and dominion not only in this age but in the one to come. What a comfort to know that our lord is so powerful. Jesus Christ also has other titles such as the High Priest and the Good Shepherd. Everyone of his titles is associated with great blessings for all those who are members of the body of Christ. All of the relationships and activities that people carry out in life – husbands, wives, children, employers, employees, etc. – are all to be centered around the lordship of Jesus Christ.
