This is a teaching about Miriam, the sister of Moses and Aaron. She was a prophetess and is listed under the Levitical genealogy. This teaching discusses the incident where Miriam and Aaron questioned Moses’ leadership. God had marked Moses out as a very special person, one with whom God spoke face-to-face. God was not pleased with what Miriam and Aaron had done. It is interesting to note that when they are confronted, only Miriam is punished for what they had done. Why was this the case? Is there some history concerning Aaron that applies to this particular incident? The teaching examines these questions and also discusses how Moses interceded on behalf of both Aaron and Miriam.
