Paul the Apostle was committed to making known the gospel – he was always ready to make it known. He did whatever he could so that the gospel would not be hindered. He did what was necessary to help all, whether Judeans or Gentiles, to hear and understand the gospel. He knew that he had freedom and liberty in Christ but he never abused that freedom so that it would be detrimental to the preaching of God’s Word or that it would ever cause others to stumble. Even if others preaching the gospel were trying to hurt his ministry he was thankful that the gospel was being preached.
