This teaching considers the following five points regarding healing:
- That sickness and sin were dealt with together by the atoning work of Jesus Christ
- That your faith, believing and confidence must be in the Word of God alone and not in your own desire, works, etc.
- That your mortal body is quickened or made alive by the spirit that dwells within us as part of the earnest or down payment of the full redemption yet to come
- That God is compassionate and merciful and desires to heal His people
- That regardless of the situations of life, all glory goes to God
