There is a real temptation amongst believers to sometimes doubt the ability of the Almighty God. We as Christians need to be aware of this so that we do not fall into this sort of thinking. The teaching shows how even unbelieving kings in the Old Testament recognized the greatness and majesty of the One True God. The prophets of old declared the greatness and power of the Almighty God. Isaiah explains how God is greater than nations and princes of nations and yet people still endeavour to bring Him down to their level, to limit Him according to human thinking. Yet, the Almighty God continues to care for His people. to strengthen, encourage and lift them up as they look to Him and His greatness. The teaching next examines how God has put all power and authority under the Lord Jesus Christ. All the power and majesty of God is available to believers via the seating of the Lord Jesus Christ on God’s right hand.
