This teaching examines the underlyng truth that opens the door for healing to be available for all: the atonement from sin by the work of Jesus Christ. By sacrificing Jesus Christ, God has paid the price to make salvation available for all mankind. The salvation that Jesus Christ brought has dealt with the root cause for all sickness and disease: sin. When a person believes on Jesus Christ, this root cause is removed and now healing is available for that person at any time. In fact, because of God’s goodness, healing is not only available for believers but also for the world at large. God had His Son die to make both salvation and deliverance available for all mankind. Both sin and it’s consequences (sickness and disease) have been conquered by the redeeming work of Jesus Christ. Healing is as much available today as forgiveness is. If you ask the question, “Can God forgive all my sins?”, the answer is obvious: of course! The same certainity would then apply to the question, “Can God heal all my sicknesses?” Both have been successfully and completely dealt with by the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. There is no reason to wait for salvation; there is no reason to wait for healing. Both were accomplished by Jesus Christ when he declared, “It is finished!”
