A key truth that underlies our Christian walk is that God’s Word is forever settled in heaven. The Word of God always accomplishes the purposes that God desires and it will endure forever. Here are some additional characterisistics of God’s Word:

• It is pure, sweet, profitable, complete, true, right, powerful, faithful, perfect, etc.
• It gives you understanding, quickens, convicts, reproves, strengthens, cleanses, gives you wisdom, keeps your path lightened and straight, gives you peace, comfort, etc.

Knowing these and similar truths should allow us to recognize that we can have steadfast faith on God’s Word. What is promised in God’s Word will come to pass; our job is to stay put on the Word.
